Pentium 4 Heatsink, HUGE!

The Pentium 4 will undoubtedly steal the show next month when they reach the market. Operating on a die twice the size of a Pentium III, and offering a 400 MHz BUS, the Pentium 4 is the natural successor to the aging P6 architecture.

However, with these chips debuting at a lightning-fast 1.4 GHz, there will need to be a"fitting" fan or heatsink attached to dissipate all the heat being produced. We here at CALROG.COM thought this would just be a slightly larger fan for the new Intel chip, however we were proved wrong.

The heatsink shown below (as found at Computex in Taiwan) is gargantuous! However, this may be a standard which all P4 owners will have to deal with...
